Police looking for two men believed to have beaten up and robbed a woman before raping her teenage daughter
Kuala Lipis police chief Supt Abdul Razak Hassan said one of the suspects had been identified as a neighbor of the victims.
“The 30-year-old suspect is a neighbor of the victims and the suspect’s house is not far from that of the victims. Police are now tracking down the suspects,” he told Bernama, here, yesterday.
He said during the 10pm incident on Sunday, the two men armed with parang entered the victim’s house through the back door which was not locked.
“The two men assaulted the woman, aged 40, before tying her up. After tying up the mother, the two assailants dragged the teenager, a Form Five student to the bathroom before raping her,” he said.
Abdul Razak said investigation also found that the two men also seized a bracelet belonging to the victim’s mother, before escaping in a car.
He said, members of the public with information on the case are urged to contact the Kuala Lipis District Police Headquarters to help investigations.
