Ninety-two auxiliary policeman will be placed in three companies
Pulapol Commandant SAC Zulkifli Mohamed said 59 of them would be placed at Public Bank, 21 at the Pavilion Kuala Lumpur and 12 at Lembaga Tabung Haji.
He said with the policing knowledge that they had learned, all the trainees would be mentally and physically prepared to face the task at their job places, especially in assisting police to reduce crime at high risk areas identified.
“Controlling, crime prevention patrol by the auxiliary police will help police in reducing crime rate in the country,” he said when closing the third series of the course her today.
Throughout the nine weeks of training, the trainees were exposed to various aspects of police training such as marching, martial arts, shooting, physical training, law and patrolling in order to improve their skills.
Meanwhile, the best trainee, Afiq Aizat Mohd, 19, said the course had exposed him to the basic needs of how to react during a crime.
“I did not expect to be picked as the best trainee since there were many others as good as me,” he said.
