Kelantan came back from two goals down to draw with Kedah 2-2 and progress to the Malaysia FA Cup final on away goals, where they will meet Sime Darby FC.

Having drawn their first leg 1-1, Kelantan looked dead and buried at the break after Canaries star Khyril Muhymeen grabbed a first-half brace.

However, the Red Warriors hit back in the 49th minute through centre-back Obinna Nwaneri, before grabbing the vital second away goal through Mohammed Ghaddar a minute after the hour mark.

They will now meet Sime Darby in the final after the Malaysia Premier League side held out for a 0-0 draw against defending champions Terengganu to progress 2-1 on aggregate.

Missing star attack duo Patrick Ronaldinho Wleh and Irme Mat, coach Ismail Zakaria based his gameplan on a solid defence and it eventually proved to be enough as the Turtles struggled to find a way past the Sime Darby backline.

In the process, Sime Darby became the first side out of Malaysia’s top flight to progress all the way to the final of the competition.
