KUALA LUMPUR — Klang Valley-bound traffic from the north, south and east has picked up from noon, resulting in vehicles having to slow down along certain stretches.

A Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) spokesman told Bernama that traffic was slow moving from Seremban and the Karak and Bentong toll plazas.

“With school starting again tomorrow (following the Aidilfitri holidays), there is a big rush back to the Klang Valley from all parts of the peninsula,” he said.

Meanwhile, a Plus Expressways Bhd spokesman said traffic was moving slowly from Juru to Bukit Tambun, Sungai Perak R&R to the Menora Tunnel, Simpang Pulai to Gopeng and from Sungkai to Slim River.

However, after Slim River traffic was smooth flowing, said the spokesman.
