Jong-Nam trial: Witness reveals names of unidentified suspects

– Investigating officer from the Sepang district police headquarters, ASP Wan Azirul Nizam Che Wan Aziz, told the High Court here today the names of the four unidentified suspects as revealed to him by first suspect Siti Aisyah, 25, following her arrest.

The ninth witness in the Kim Jong-Nam trial said Siti had identified them as “Mr James”, “Mr Y”, “Mr Chang”, and “Hanamori @ Grandpa-Uncle”.

He told deputy public prosecutor Wan Shaharuddin Wan Ladin that second suspect Doan Thi Huong also mentioned the same names to identify the four individuals when quizzed by him.

Wan Azirul Nizam also told the court that Jong-Nam’s original passport bearing the name Kim-Chol was handed over to the North Korean embassy and that he was present when a copy of the passport was made by the police. – The Sundaily
